Description: A mixed column of British regulars, Loyalist militia & Indians under LTC Johnson departed Oswego NY for Schoharie Valley, with the aim of crippling this "granary of rebellion". Hugging the south bank of the Mohawk River, they burned nearly every habitation in their path. The raiders then re-crossed the Mohawk, and repeated this scourge north on their way back to Oswego. Johnson rested his men at Klock's farm. There in the afternoon, Johnsons's command was found by a large patriot force who had been shadowing them for several days. So grab your musket and decide who you will bleed for!

Description: On May 14th, a party of British regular volunteers (27th Foot Inniskilling) were reconnoitering the area near the French held fort of Ticonderoga, when they were ambushed by French allied Indians. A 6 hour running skirmish ensued, forcing the regulars back to an abandoned cabin in the woods by nightfall. 2 squads of Rangers were sent out to find them and return to British lines. "Others" may also be looking!
